Hi, I’m Jessica Fleming, Co-President of our PTO. I am a mom to four boys, including three current DCES students—a fifth grader and twin second graders. My oldest son, now in middle school, attended Daves Creek Elementary from kindergarten through fifth grade. I have been a room parent since my children started at DCES and serve on the Local School Council.I am a professional writer and editor whose work has appeared in national newspapers, magazines and websites. I love supporting DCES teachers and staff, building community among families, and creating fun experiences for students. I believe the PTO is at its best when lots of parents get involved, so don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to volunteer or help plan an event! |

Hello DCES Family! My name is Ashley Stewart. I was born and raised in Metro Atlanta. I attended the University of Georgia where I received my degree in Elementary Education. I worked for 9 years as a GA Pre-k teacher. I currently am a stay-at-home mom to my four awesome kiddos, Aubrey (12), Brooke (10), Will (8), and Drew (4). Both Brooke and Will attend Daves Creek and Aubrey attends Lakeside Middle School now but went through Daves Creek as well. My husband (Bryan) and I have lived in this area for 9 years, and we love it! I am excited to serve the PTO Board because I know how hard teachers work to serve our children, and I want to be able to serve them as well as the students in some small way. |

Hi, I’m Sandy Lacatus. I’m married and the proud mom of two children, a daughter in third grade and a son in kindergarten. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I spent nearly 10 years working in education. I began my career as a teacher before moving into the business side of education. Those experiences deepened my commitment to supporting students, educators, and school communities. I currently serve on the Daves Creek PTO as the Community Engagement Coordinator, where I focus on building strong relationships with local businesses and community partners to support our school. I have also recently joined the Daves Creek Local School Council. I’m excited to help create meaningful opportunities that enrich the experience for all Daves Creek families. |

Hi! I’m Japjeet Duggal, and I’m excited to be serving again as the Yearbook Chair at Daves Creek Elementary. I’m a mom of two: a second grader at Daves Creek and a Georgia Pre K student who is excited to join the Dolphin family next year. I love capturing the memories and milestones that make these school years so special. By profession, I’m a software engineer, but I started my career as a true crime and investigative journalist in India. I also served as the student editor of my school’s annual magazine, so being part of the yearbook feels like coming full circle. Outside of work and PTO, I enjoy cooking, DIY home projects, creating cultural YouTube content for my kids, and exploring Georgia and the East Coast after spending eight years on the West Coast. I’m grateful to be part of this wonderful school community and look forward to helping preserve another year of Dolphin memories! |

My name is Ashley O'Mara, and I'm excited to serve as the PTO Secretary this year! I'm a work-from-home mom to two sons—Thomas, who is in 8th grade at South Middle, and Ryan, who is in 4th grade here at DCES. I graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Magazine Journalism, where I met my husband, Bob. We've been married for nearly 17 years and relocated from New Jersey to Georgia in 2016. I currently work from home as a legal billing specialist for clients based in the Northeast. When I'm not shuttling my boys to practices and activities, I enjoy reading, cooking, reading cookbooks, and cheering on the New York Giants football team. I'm looking forward to supporting our school community and getting to know more DCES families this year! |
